Ok here is my Hanson Story/Encounter.
On May 14,1998 I was on the net
Searching for Hanson tour info.
I went into Hanson Hitz and clicked on tour
I was happy to see that Hanson was coming to Boston,
because I was in
Maine visiting for a while.
Well I looked over at the tour dates and saw
That the tickets went on sale the next day!!!!
I immediately called my
Cousin heather who is a Hanson fanatic also
she asked her mom if she would
Allow her to go and she said yes and she
offered to bring us too so I
Waited till 10:59 the next day and called the number.
I got through at
11:01 exactly!
(The tickets went on sale at 11:00)
and ordered 3 seat Tickets.
Well I waited till June 12 and finally the tickets arrived! I
Ripped open the envelope to find that I had front row seats!
And I was Almost right in the middle!
I was so excited I called heather and told her
The good news she practically broke her phone she was so excited!
I had This urge to scream!
But I didn't. I waited until June 21 and we were Off to Boston.
We put a t.v. in the car because we just had to watch all
my Hanson videos.
We got to Boston that night at around 8:00 we stayed at
the hotel until 6:00 on June 26th
and we drove to Great woods the place
where the concert was on the way to great
wood we were playing sweet and sour
(it's where you where you wave to people in cars
and if they wave back
Then they are sweet and if they don't they are sour)
well anyway we saw 4
limos and we waved to them all.
But when the last one came we waved the
window rolled down and we saw no other than Taylor!
We waved to him and he
waved back. I held up one of my Hanson pin ups and
he gave me a thumbs up
and smiled waved again and he shut the
window and the limo drove off. We
got to the concert at about 6:15 and we waited
in line for about a 1/2 hour
then we got in and the security Guards checked
our tickets and lead us to
our place. We waited until 7:30 and admiral twin came
on and did a 1/2-hour
set. Then another half hour went by and Hanson
finally came on stage we
were screaming soo hard !!!
they played a medley of Gimme some lovin and
shake a tail feather then they played thinkin
of you and played more songs I
don't exactly remember what order they were
in but they played all the songs
off MON except for Lucy and yearbook.
they played Stories, Solider, River and
another one which I don't remember off the
top of my head and they played 3
other oldies (money is the only one I remember)
And Ike played a solo on
piano "I love you more than anything " they did
this jamming thing and Tay
Played the drums and zac gave me his drumsticks!!
they finished off the
concert with mmmbop
(during it I almost puked because I was screaming soooo hard)
after they left everyone started
yelling "Hanson, Hanson, Hanson
Hanson" so they came out and played
speechless and another oldie then Tay
said "you have been a wonderful audience thank you and good night " they
went off stage again but zac ran out and
yelled "everybody Scream!!"
(It was soo cute)
and we did. Then in the back ground I heard
tay yell "God!!"
then the concert was over and we went to
the place where they were selling
stuff and bought this huge poster a T-shirt
and a key holder. I will always
remember that Hanson filled week for the rest of my life.

P.S. the next day we found out that Hanson had been in our hotel!!
